Open Call for Presentations of Experiences on Sustainable Development in Mountains

Call for presentations of experiences on sustainable development in mountains for the III Workshop on Sustainable Development in Mountain Environments Mountains 2018 - is now open to August 31, 2018.

Objective: to provide a space to exchange experiences and share knowledge on sustainable development in mountain environments, including perspectives from issues such as agro-ecology, agriculture, climate change, rural tourism, forest, water, community and territories, ecosystem services, public policies, land use and other related perspectives.
Selection of proposals will be based on adherence to Mountains 2018 key themes, relevance, and originality.
Submitted proposals will be selected by the Mountains 2018 organizing committee, and expected to be presented during the conference.
Time for each presentation: 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for questions and answers.
Simultaneous translations (English, Spanish and Portuguese) will be provided during the presentations.

Abstract format: English language, Word, font Times New Roman, size 12, space 1.5, maximum 3,000 characters. It should contain Title, Author (s), Institution, Presenter, Introduction, Experience description, Results, and Conclusion.
