On January 30, the CIMO-CV, Mountain Research Centre – Cape Verde, was presented and
discussed in a public session at the Bragança Campus of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança.
This session had the presence of the Director and faculty member s of the Faculty of
Agricultural and Environmental Sciences of the University of Cape Verde, where the new
Centre will be located, as well as the Counselor of the Embassy of Cape Verde in Portugal, Elias
Andrade, who, with other researchers and consultants in Cape Verde and Bragança, discussed
the opportunities created by the establishment of the Centre for research and development of
Cape Verde and the region where this country is located. CIM0-CV is expected to start
