FROM NATURE TO PRODUCTS, TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY.
Promove 2023 CIMO-IPB results
Within the context of the Program “Promove 2023” promoted by the Foundation “La Caixa” and the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), CIMO-IPB got approved 2 Mobilizing R&D projects, CyChest – Filomena Barreiro, and BeeSustain – Miguel Vilas Boas, the last one coordinated by CIMO.
In addition, 5 Innovative pilot projects (WoodLandFungi – Carla Pereira; OliveCo-Free – Filipe Madeira, SustainableTrout – Maria Inês Dias, TextBlueStyle – Ricardo Calhelha, and iCarbono José Lima/João Azevedo, a SusTEC initiative), and 3 “Ideas with the potential to become innovative pilot projects” (Nutr&ssencial, BiCider and PLantinaqua with the mentorship of Carla Pereira, Filipa Reis and Maria Inês Dias, respectively), were approved.
Overall, 43 researchers from CIMO-IPB are involved in the teams, and a global budget surpassing 630 mil euros was guaranteed.
