Award for the best poster communication in the Young Algaeneers Symposium 2022, a conference with the support of the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA).

Samara Silva, CIMO/IPB PhD student, has received the award for the best poster communication – Spirulina protein extract as an effective natural emulsifier for oil-in-water emulsions – in the Young Algaeneers Symposium 2022 sponsored by Kees Boender. This conference brings together the main stakeholders for knowledge exchange and collaboration, designed and organised by young scientists for young scientists, and with the support of the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA). Samara is currently enrolled in the “Doctoral Programme in Chemical and Biological Engineering” under the supervision of Professor Filomena Barreiro (CIMO/IPB) and Professor Madalena Dias (LSRE-LCM/FEUP).
