The first review on mountain food products has been published in the journal Trends in Food Science & Technology. This review was authored by CIMO researchers Natália Martins and Isabel C.F.R. Ferreira providing an overview of mountain food products in Europe, “highlighting their contribution to the recent evolutions of the so-called modern lifestyle and of the increasing consumer demand for healthy and natural food products, and focusing on the role of certification”.
