CIMO-IPB with two projects approved in the call “Natural Park of Montesinho – Call for SR&TD projects”

Within the call “Natural Park of Montesinho – Call for SR&TD projects”, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) have selected six research projects amounting a total investment of 1.4 million euros. The aim was to promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary R&D activities to be carried out in the Montesinho Natural Park. Among the selected projects two are coordinated by CIMO-IPB, namely the project “Local adaptative responses of pastoralism to climate change in the Natural Park of Montesinho (Portugal)” coordinated by Marina Castro, and “Integrated approaches for socio-economic boosting the sustainable production and consumption of Montesinho mushrooms” coordinated by Carla Pereira.
