Progress in cross border cooperation in mountain research and innovation recognized in the XXX Spain-Portugal Summit

The President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the Prime minister of Portugal, António Costa, have expressed their satisfaction for progress made in cooperation in research and innovation across borders in the mountains regions of Trás-os-Montes (Northeast Portugal) and Castile and León (Northwest Spain). According to the text of the Spain-Portugal Joint Declaration of the XXX Spain-Portugal Summit that took place on November 21, 2018, in Valladolid, these initiatives shall develop as promoters of collaboration among cross border laboratories to strengthen the strategic character of cooperation between the two countries.
