ChestWine - Winner of 6th Edition of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award

CIMO-IPB ChestWine project, formerly headed by Professor Isabel Ferreira, is the winner of the “Born from Knowledge” (BfK), and of the “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” prize of Caixa Crédito Agrícola (PEICA), “Production, Transformation and Marketing” category. The project aims at valorizing the chestnut flowers as a source of natural preservatives to substitute sulphites in wines. This event is a co-joint organization of ANI (Agência Nacional de Inovação) and CA (Crédito Caixa Agrícola). See more information here: https://www.premioinovacao.pt.
